The Job
Location: Remote, UK Resident Only.

Department: Sales & Business Development
Overview: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive growth in the company's house repair claims services by developing relationships with clients, insurance providers, contractors, and stakeholders. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and aligning offerings with market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct research, identify opportunities, and develop expansion strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, homeowners, contractors, and property managers.
- Business Development: Network, attend events, and pursue new opportunities.
- Sales & Revenue: Manage sales pipeline, close deals, and negotiate contracts.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with operations to ensure timely service delivery.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams to improve service delivery and customer experience.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track performance and report to senior management.
Key Functions:
- Manage key accounts and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
- Coordinate pre- and post-sales activities.
- Monitor market trends and competitors.
- Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads.

The Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in insurance, construction, or house repair.
- Knowledge of home repair claims, insurance standards, and claims systems is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in insurance claims or house repair services.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Problem-solving and customer-first mindset.
