Bus Driver - Limerick (Full-Time, Permanent)

About The Role

We are seeking professional and safety-focused Bus Drivers to join our team in Limerick. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent pay, benefits, and career progression. Successful candidates will play a key role in providing a reliable and friendly public transport service to passengers across the city and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate buses on scheduled routes across Limerick.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to passengers.
  • Adhere to timetables and operational procedures.
  • Handle cash fares and complete end-of-shift cashing in.
  • Work across early, middle, and late shifts as part of a rotating roster.
  • Maintain professional standards in line with company policies, including wearing full uniform.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Irish category D driving license.
  • Must have up to date CPC & Tacho card.
  • Must be aged 21 or over (insurance requirement).
  • Strong focus on safety, responsibility, and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work across a 5/7 roster including weekends and varying shifts.
  • Garda vetting may be required.

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive weekly salary:
    • Year 1: €802.99
    • Years 2-3: €845.06
    • Years 4-5: €887.58
    • Year 6: €929.66
  • Standard 39-hour work week, with potential overtime (up to 48 hours).
