Job summary

The North of Scotland Breast Centre seeks an Advanced Practitioner Mammographer in Image Interpretation to join the Breast Screening and Symptomatic Service across a large area of the North of Scotland and the Western Isles.

Applicants should have CPD evidence and a passion for imaging, with the ability to work autonomously and contribute to service development. Travel on mobile units and work at the Highland Breast Centre are involved.

Qualifications

• Hold either the Certificate of Competence in Mammography or PG Cert in Mammography and a Breast Image Interpretation qualification.
• Role suitable for newly qualified Advanced Practitioner Mammographers.

Responsibilities

• Provide image interpretation for breast screening and symptomatic service.
• Travel extensively on the mobile unit and work at the integrated Highland Breast Centre.
