Job summary

Muckross Park Hotel & Spa in Killarney invites applications for a permanent Food and Beverage Assistant role in the Yew Tree restaurant. The position is full-time with a schedule from 6:30 am to 3 pm and a very attractive package and benefits.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to guests, assist with all aspects of food and beverage service, greet and seat guests, and ensure standards across the restaurant, including HACCP compliance and seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
• Experience in high-volume operations is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP.
• Understanding of Food and Beverage procedures.
• Flexible within the role.
• Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive high-quality service
• Ensure Yew Tree Restaurant premises are neat and orderly
• Greet and seat the guests, and ensure prompt, courteous service
• Provide guests with high-quality service
• Perform service duties (food, beverage, room service etc.)
• Seek opportunities to communicate with guests to personalise the service

Muckross Park Hotel & Spa, part of the iNUA Collection, is a renowned Five Star hotel located in Killarney, Co. Kerry. The hotel is surrounded by nature in Killarney National Park and is only 4 Km from the town centre.

We are now delighted to announce that we are seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in Yew Tree restaurant. This is a permanent role, based in the hotel, offering a very attractive package and benefits. Schedule 6:30 am to 3 pm.

Overview Of The Role

To provide exceptional service to our guests in Food and Beverage outlets and to maximise guest satisfaction and food and beverage profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that guests receive high-quality service
• Ensure that the Yew Tree Restaurant premises are in neat and orderly condition at all times
• Greet and seat the guests, and make sure that they receive prompt, courteous and efficient service
• Provide guests with high-quality service
• Perform all service duties of the Yew Tree Restaurant, i.e. food service, beverage service, room service etc.
• Seek appropriate opportunities to communicate with guests to personalise the service
• Ensure readiness and compliance among all team members

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience working in high-volume operations is a distinct advantage.
• Must have excellent knowledge of HACCP.
• Understanding of Food and Beverage procedures
• Must be flexible within the role
• Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
