The Tube Company Of Ireland Ltd (TubeCo) in County Cork is seeking a Branch Operations & Sales Support Assistant to join our branch team. You will support the Branch Manager with daily operations, sales, stock control, order picking/packing and delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role (37.5 hours, Mon–Fri) offers opportunities for development within a long-established company, with exposure to trade counter sales, ERP systems, and a collaborative team environment in a busy

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar industry.
• Experience with ERP systems (Kerridge) preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager with daily operations and admin tasks.
• Process sales, respond to queries, and build rapport with customers and suppliers.
• Handle stock management, goods in/out, and order picking/packing.
• Serve customers at the trade counter with product knowledge and advice.
• Support branch activities and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Step in to run the branch in the Manager's absence when required.

Our Stainless Steel division supplies a comprehensive range of products including, Sheet, Flat bar, Nominal bore tubes & fittings, Dairy Tubes and Fittings and Valves to the market.

The Role:

As Branch Operations and Sales Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Branch Manager with day-to-day running and operations within the branch, including sales, administration, stock management, picking & packing orders and providing the highest standards of customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, hours will vary between 8am and 5.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the Company Values at all times.
• Ensure company Health and Safety standards of performance are adhered to at all times.
• Building rapport with customers and suppliers, responding to any queries and processing sales.
• Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
• General warehouse duties including goods in & out and picking and packing orders.
• Assist the Branch Manager with sales and administrative duties.
• Any other reasonable duties which may arise.
• Must be extremely customer focused.
• A good level of computer literacy.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate within a small team environment and step up to run the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build strong relationships.
• Dependable, reliable and trustworthy.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar industry.
• Experience using K8 (Kerridge) or similar ERP system.
• Warehouse Experience.
