Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking Mobile RGI and Boilers Mechanical Technicians to join our mobile team in the Leinster area. Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am to 16:30pm. ***Flexibility required for on-call requests***

Join a responsive engineering team delivering planned and reactive maintenance on boilers and mechanical systems. Garda vetting is mandatory and you will carry out preventative maintenance, fault resolution and component servicing to ensure uptime.

Qualifications

• Senior trades in plumbing/mechanical discipline or Diploma in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline.
• Experience in Utilities / Facilities.
• Formal training (RGI Qualified).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Computer literate, tablet, smart phone, computer programs.
• Proven track record in Preventive and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment.
• Garda vetting mandatory.

Responsibilities

• To carry out planned preventative maintenance on all mechanical systems and equipment.
• Proactively identify maintenance issues to maximize equipment uptime.
• Servicing of mechanical equipment, boilers, heat systems components, and pressure units.
• To carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken-down equipment.
• Upload appropriate PPM records and reports in line with requirements.
• Assist in quoting for follow-on works, installation of new plant and equipment.
• To keep the help desk and engineering managers updated at all times in relation to equipment issues.
• To be a self-motivated maintenance technician and continuously strive for self-improvement.
• Ensure any training deemed necessary by your line manager is completed within the agreed timeframe.
• Must be willing to take on and familiarize yourself with all relevant site systems as deemed necessary to complete the role.
• Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements.
• Ensure that all work carried out complies with all current regulations
• EH & S procedures adherence; contribute to Safety, Quality, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement targets.
• Report any accidents, incidents, and out-of-place findings to the line manager.
• Maintain work areas and plant room areas in a tidy condition at all times.

  Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
  • Computer literate, tablet, smart phone, computer programs.
  • Proven track record in Preventive and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment.
