Job summary

Dornan is seeking a BMS Manager to lead engineering activities across multiple hyperscale data centre projects in Europe. You will provide technical leadership from design through delivery, review BMS designs, and coordinate with electrical, mechanical and controls teams to ensure seamless integration.

You will guide standardized BMS solutions, troubleshoot on-site issues, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Job description

At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a BMS Manager to work as part of our Agnostic division supporting critical infrastructure projects across Europe.

You will join a hard working ambitious team and you will benefit from a supportive culture, where your ideas and contributions will be recognised.

Your day will include:

• Managing BMS engineering activities across multiple hyperscale data centre projects throughout Europe.


• Providing technical leadership and engineering support to project teams from design through to delivery.


• Reviewing BMS designs, specifications and technical submissions, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.


• Working closely with electrical, mechanical and controls teams to ensure effective integration of BMS systems.


• Supporting the development and implementation of standardised BMS solutions across multiple projects.


• Providing technical guidance, troubleshooting and support to site teams, with occasional travel to project locations.


• Engaging with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to drive successful project delivery.

About You

• Proven experience in a BMS management, engineering or controls leadership role, ideally within the data centre or critical infrastructure sector.


• Strong electrical engineering background with a good understanding of BMS, controls and building services systems.


• Significant experience working on hyperscale data centre projects, with site-based experience highly desirable.


• Strong technical knowledge of BMS design, installation, commissioning and integration.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.


• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.


• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites across Europe.
