Job summary
CAI is seeking an Automation Equipment Support Engineer to join a high-performing team at a state-of-the-art biologics facility. You will provide hands-on automation support for GMP manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot PLC/HMI/SCADA issues, and assist with investigations, deviations, and change controls.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years in pharma/biotech/regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting automated process equipment in production settings.
- Working knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day automation support for GMP manufacturing equipment and process systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, and controls issues to minimize downtime.
- Support investigations, deviations, and technical escalations with cross-functional teams.
- Execute and support automation changes through change control processes.
- Participate in root cause analyses and CAPA implementation.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, system enhancements, and continuous improvement.
- Assist commissioning, qualification, and validation activities for equipment.
- Maintain automation documentation and system lifecycle records in GMP compliance.
