Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for registration on the CORU Medical Scientists Register.
• Provide proof of Statutory Registration before a contract of employment is issued.
• Maintain annual CORU registration with the HSE via the PSAC.
• Possess knowledge and ability for proper discharge of duties in the role.
• Possess knowledge of the Biochemistry clinical/scientific area.
• Possess knowledge of ISO 15189 quality management system.
• Demonstrate research and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quality service in laboratory medicine and molecular pathology to patients.
• Work within the Biochemistry department as part of LabMed Directorate.
• Engage in clinical audit, improvement and relevant research activities.
