Job summary

Honeywell in Ireland is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer - Gas to support maintenance and troubleshooting of Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at client sites. You will manage annual servicing, perform condition-based maintenance, and provide hands-on training to operators.

The role requires experience in industrial servicing or controls, with gas industry exposure preferred. The position offers competitive salary and benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial servicing or controls systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Gas industry experience or relevant HND/HNC qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the annual servicing of the facility including condition-based servicing & Planned Preventative Maintenance and submit full reports of the job
Testing the Grid Entry Unit, ensuring they are safe and working well before signing off, provide hands‑on training and knowledge to new users/operators
Investigate issues to find any faults and system analysis – carry out any replacements as needed
Engage with clients to understand issues make observations and suggest possible improvements and make recommendations
Meet customers’ needs via remote support as part of an on‑call rota
