Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Business Unit BIM Manager in Dublin to lead BIM/VDC across data centre projects. You will develop SOPs, recruit and mentor BIM staff, and coordinate multi-disciplinary models with stakeholders.

Your role includes ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and GMP-driven validation requirements. You will manage BIM delivery from tender through handover, partnering with the engineering director and central team to achieve aligned, efficient workflows and robust digital twin data for

Qualifications

Strong experience managing BIM on data centres or regulated industrial projects.
Expert knowledge of MEP systems and their coordination within complex facilities.
Proficiency in Revit, CADWorx or Plant3D, Navisworks, and common CDE platforms (e.g. ACC, ProjectWise).
Solid understanding of LOD/LOI, ISO 19650, and BIM for fabrication and construction.

Responsibilities

Overall control of BIM/VDC management for the BU (Building Information Modelling/Virtual design & Construction).
Develops and improves the SOPs for BIM management in the BU.
Trains and educates staff in BIM and coordination methods and procedures.
Builds and maintains relationships with BIM consultants and hires BIM staff.
Ensure training and compliance with ISO 19650 and GMP/validation needs.
