Job summary

Collen Construction is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support large data centre projects from the project site, ensuring BIM protocols are followed and deliverables meet client requirements.

The role involves coordinating with design teams, external clients, and cross-functional departments, performing laser scans, and producing 4D simulations and BIM reports under the BIM Manager guidance.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• Experience using Revit is essential for this BIM role.
• Solid knowledge of construction disciplines and BIM workflows is expected.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the BIM Manager/Coordinator from the project site.
• Support BIM project setup and coordination for data centre projects.
• Coordinate with the BIM team, design team and external clients.
• Coordinate with cross functional departments and follow BIM protocols.
• Assist in using BIM authoring tools (Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks).
• Support the coordination/review of BIM models and produce reports.
• Perform site surveys with laser scanning equipment per BIM processes.
• Review scans to align with expectations and share with the wider team.
• Improve scanning processes and mastering scanning tools.
• Assist BIM team with meeting minutes and BIM reports.
