Job summary

O'Connor Woodwork Solutions specialises in bespoke joinery and fitted furniture across Ireland. We seek a CAD Technician to produce precise technical drawings for bespoke projects, working closely with architects, designers and production teams in Cloonlara.

You will develop drawings from briefs, prepare workshop-ready drawings, and liaise with all stakeholders to resolve technical issues before manufacture. Previous CAD software experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Technically minded with good attention to detail and able to work in a busy design/manufacturing environment.
• Experience using CAD-based drawing software is required.
• Experience with Cabinet Vision and/or SketchUp is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed working and fabrication drawings for bespoke joinery, cabinetry and fitted furniture.
• Developing drawings from architects' and designers' specifications for approval.
• Preparing clear manufacturing drawings for workshop and production teams.
• Liaising with architects, design teams, workshop staff and other project stakeholders.
• Reviewing designs to identify and resolve technical or manufacturing issues before production.
• Ensuring drawings contain the dimensions, materials and construction details required for accurate manufacture.
• Supporting projects through the design, manufacturing and installation stages.
