Mars Capital is seeking a Developer (BAU Team) to design, develop, test, and deploy applications using C#, .NET, WCF, Web API, Web Forms, MVC, Angular, and SQL Server. The role involves collaboration with stakeholders and contributing to CI/CD practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, issue resolution, and effective communication are essential. You will work in a dynamic team, ensuring reliable deployments and support across application systems and QA

Job Summary

Position: Developer (BAU Team) – Application Systems and QA Support

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using WCF services, Web Forms, MVC, C#, Web‑APIs, Windows Services, Angular, MS SQL Server, Git, Azure DevOps, and AWS Lambda functions.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define system requirements and technical specifications.
• Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of software development from conception through deployment and maintenance.
• Liaise with test teams for environment configuration and solution design to enable effective testing.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET frameworks.
• Expertise in developing and consuming WCF services, Web‑APIs, Web Forms, MVC, Windows Services, Angular, MS SQL Server, Git, Azure DevOps, and AWS Lambda functions.
• In‑depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and their implementation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, AWS).
• Experience in performance tuning for .NET applications.
• Previous experience with Angular for front‑end development.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda and related services such as Amazon S3 and AWS CloudWatch.

Complexity

The systems are highly interconnected; architectural and logical decisions often require thorough refinement before implementation.

Influence

Candidate must communicate design solutions to non‑technical audiences, document changes clearly, and participate in reviews of code releases involving database development.

Resource

Candidate will be largely independent, responsible for own work, and subject to peer review. Senior members will guide junior staff and enforce Mars development practices.
