Job summary

O’Donoghue Ring Collection in Killarney is seeking experienced full-time Bartenders for Café du Parc, in the centre of Killarney. Join a busy café and bar, part of the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa, open daily to serve breakfast, lunch and drinks.

You will assist across hotel bars as needed and deliver exceptional guest service. Ideal candidates have bar experience, cocktail knowledge, and a strong understanding of beers, wines and spirits, with fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Previous bar experience is advantageous.
• Cocktail making experience is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of beers, wines and spirits is required.
• Professional and friendly approach with excellent customer service.
• Able to work well in a busy team environment.
• Fluent English is essential; permission to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders from guests and serve while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Ensure the establishment meets 4-star standards at all times.
• Maintain hygiene regulations at all times.
• Be flexible and work as part of the hotel team across bars.

We are currently seeking experienced full-time Bartenders to join our team in Café du Parc. Café du Parc is a thriving café and bar in the centre of Killarney. It is part of the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa. It is open 7 days/nights per week serving breakfast, lunch and a wide range of beverages. It serves a wide variety of guests from locals to international visitors. The café offers a relaxed setting for socialising. The candidate will also be required to assist in other bars throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities of this role are:

• To take drink orders from guests and serve them while maintaining the highest level of customer service
• To ensure our 4 Star standards are achieved at all times
• To ensure that all hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times
• To work as part of the team, and being flexible at all times

The ideal candidate for this position:

• Previous Bar experience is an advantage.
• Cocktail experience is an advantage
• Must have a good knowledge of beers, wines and spirits
• Must have a professional and friendly approach and focus on providing excellent customer service
• Must be able to work well in a busy environment and as part of a team.
• Fluent English is essential and permission to work in Ireland.
• Must be 18 years+ and be flexible with shifts and available to work weekends.
