Job summary

Morgan McKinley Ireland is seeking a solicitor with banking and finance experience for a Dublin-based role with a leading commercial law firm. The candidate will handle Banking Law, secured/unsecured lending, and debt refinancing, working with banks, corporates, and high-net-worth clients.

You will join a cooperative team, deliver excellent drafting, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development. Prior exposure to property law and corporate banking is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking/Finance law is required.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills essential.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Job description

Our client, a large commercial law firm in Dublin acts for the major banks and financial institutions, large corporates and high net worth individuals, providing a range of banking restructuring, treasury and regulatory advices on a continuous basis.

Successful candidates should have experience in some or all of the following areas:-

• Banking Law
• Secured and unsecured lending
• Security over all types of assets
• Debt restructuring and refinancings
• Company law
• Law of Property
• Corporate Banking/Real Estate Finance

• Strong commercial awareness, sharing the firm's commitment to an in-depth understanding of our client's needs
• An ability to work effectively as part of a team within the Firm, with other advisers and with our clients
• An ability to work closely with clients to establish a strong one to one relationship
• Demonstrable analytical skills
• Excellent drafting skills
• Strong organisational, financial and time management skills
• Strong business development skills would be a distinct advantage

Requirements
