You'll work collaboratively with designers, product managers, and medical staff to develop backend systems that offer a unified view of athlete health, injuries, recovery, and availability.

The ideal candidate will have over four years of software development experience and a strong knowledge of distributed systems. The role supports flexible working arrangements including office-based, hybrid, and remote options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience writing software in a professional setting, ideally on a SaaS product.
• Demonstrated ability to move a product or a team forward.
• Experience building alongside product managers and designers.
• Practical experience with distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design systems for the Performance Medicine product, from planning to implementation.
• Build Ruby services to capture and manage athlete medical data with accuracy and privacy.
• Address reliability and scaling challenges for a platform used by top sports teams.
• Collaborate with product, design, and medical staff to shape the product.
