Job summary

First People Solutions is recruiting a B1 Compliance Engineer for a client based in Shannon. The role offers €50 per hour with standard 40-hour weeks, Monday to Friday.

You will ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met, and perform quality audits to uphold PART-145 compliance across the organisation. The job requires a valid B1/B2 licence (EASA/UK CAA) and experience in an Aircraft/Component Maintenance Organisation, with a basic grasp of quality tools and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid EASA/UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Licence in B1 or B2.
• Evidence of working in an Aircraft/Component Maintenance Organisation.
• Basic understanding of quality and continuous improvement tools/techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring policies, procedures, and processes align with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Carry out independent quality audits of the Facilities, Procedures, Vendors and Airworthiness Standards.
• Maintain knowledge of maintenance requirements and PART-145 approvals as needed for effective audits.
• Complete Non-Conformity Reports for audited areas with non-compliance findings and submit to the responsible person.
• Support the closure of Non-Conformance Reports.
• Assess regulatory requirements to ensure minimum compliance is maintained.

• Rate: €50 per hour
• Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30 (40 Hr Week)

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid EASA/UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Licence in Category B1, or B2.
• Can provide evidence of working in an Aircraft/Component Maintenance Organisation
• Basic understanding of quality and continuous improvement tools/techniques

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that policies, procedures, and processes are aligned with regulatory and customer requirements
• Carrying out independent quality audits of the Facilities, Procedures, Vendors and Airworthiness Standards of the organisation in accordance with an audit programme.
• Maintaining knowledge of maintenance requirements and standards, and the requirements for PART-145 Approval, to the extent necessary to ensure that audits are effective and comprehensive.
• Completing Non-Conformity Reports for each area or aspect of the organisation's maintenance activity which has been audited and where non-compliance with PART 145, the MOE or Technical Procedures are identified, submitting these to the responsible person.
• Supporting the closure of Non-Conformance Reports.
• Assessment of regulatory requirements to ensure as a minimum compliance is maintained
