Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking an Azure Data Engineer based in Ireland to strengthen cybersecurity operations by building scalable security data pipelines across cloud and on‑premises environments.

You will handle high volumes of security telemetry for threat detection, incident response, compliance, and risk visibility, combining data engineering with cloud, automation, and data quality management while collaborating across teams to onboard sources and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data engineering, or related field.
• Experience onboarding and validating log sources in SIEM or cloud data platforms.
• Strong parsing and data transformation skills (regex, JSON, XML, CSV).
• Experience with Azure cloud services and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable security data ingestion pipelines for SIEM and Azure.
• Parse, transform, validate structured and unstructured telemetry using regex and JSON.
• Onboard new log sources and validate end-to-end data flows with stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity, timeliness, and quality for monitoring and risk analytics.
• Maintain documentation on log onboarding, data mappings, and configurations.
• Collaborate with detection engineering and security operations to support use cases.
