Job summary

Pepper Advantage Technology Limited is expanding its Security Engineering team with a Cyber Security Analyst. You will build and run defensive controls for a high-availability credit platform, focusing on Azure-based cloud security, governance, and incident response.

Responsibilities include managing SOC tickets, security tools, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to embed secure controls and continuously improve the cyber security posture. Hybrid role in Dublin or Madrid.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Proven experience in threat hunting and detection engineering.
• Strong understanding of cyber defence strategies and security operations.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and vulnerability scanners.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or ISO 27001.
• Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell) desirable.
• Certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, Security+.

Responsibilities

• Review, triage and respond to SOC tickets.
• Manage security toolsets and drive improvements in security stance.
• Collaborate with security, infra and development teams to embed secure controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the cyber security posture.
• Create Breach and Attack Simulation assessments based on threat intelligence.
