Job summary

AXA Partners is seeking a Data Engineer in Ireland to drive data transformation across CLP projects using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Delta Lake. You will design scalable pipelines, model data for analytics, and enable BI reporting with Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years in a production Big Data environment in data engineering/analytics projects.
Strong experience with Azure data services and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Delta Lake.
Optimize data storage solutions for high quality and accessibility.
Develop data models and datasets to support analytics, reporting, and BI tools like Power BI.
Automate data workflows using scripting and automation tools.
Maintain and enhance operational analytical components and drive improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data seamlessly and deliver high-quality service.
Maintain data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant standards.
