Job summary

eir business in Dublin is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and operate enterprise networking and cloud security in a hybrid Azure environment. You will own automation tasks using Terraform and IaC, and drive API-driven security improvements across Check Point CloudGuard and Cisco platforms.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure networking, firewall management, BGP and FTD, and collaboration across infrastructure, cloud and security teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and operating networking and security in on-premise and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking and security services, Check Point CloudGuard, and ExpressRoute.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, IaC, and automation of cloud network and security services.
• Experience with API-driven integrations and security automation.
• Strong experience with Cisco networking and security technologies, including BGP, IPsec, and Firepower.
• Experience with Cisco FMC and Firepower Threat Defence platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure network and security solutions on-premises and Azure.
• Automate Azure infrastructure, network and security deployments using Terraform and IaC.
• Implement API-driven security automation, including management of Check Point CloudGuard policies and configurations.
• Support Cisco networking and security technologies, including routing and switching, BGP, IPSec VPNs, Firepower and ACI.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and security teams to deliver resilient and secure cloud solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve cloud network and security services.
• Prepare and deliver security reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
