Job summary

Atlantic Aviation Group is seeking an Engineering Officer to support engineering orders, review drawings, and manage major repairs and modifications at Shannon Airport. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (aviation related) or EASA Part 66, plus 2+ years in a similar position and strong knowledge of EASA/FAA regulations.

You will work closely with customers and the production team, ensuring accurate documentation and schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation related, or EASA Part 66 Basic Licence.
2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Advanced knowledge of Aviation Regulations (EASA and FAA).
Ability to work independently and meet aggressive schedules.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.
Works with project teams to resolve problems (technical, budget, schedule).
Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings, SBs, SRMs and similar documents.
Act as a focal point for communication between production and customer or manufacturer.
Liaise with customer/manufacturer on technical issues beyond the repair manual scope.
Interpret engineering replies and transcribe into an unambiguous staged work process.
Ensure the accuracy of information and instructions in issued documents.
Perform project management for major repairs, modifications or refurbishment projects.
Carry out other duties as requested by the Engineering Manager.
