Job summary

AECOM is recruiting a seasoned Electrical Building Services Engineer for Aviation in Dublin. The role requires attendance on site three days per week with two days remote, and supports airside and landside infrastructure projects across the Dublin team.

You will ensure design assurance, review technical docs, and maintain compliance with ICAO/EASA standards, planning conditions, and safety requirements throughout the programme lifecycle.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience delivering aviation infrastructure projects.
• Acting as a Design Lead on multi-million-euro projects, including providing technical assurance through review and approval of designs, drawings and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of safety requirements, operational constraints, and regulatory processes for airside infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office, and in discipline-specific engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure designs and contract documents are delivered on time, within quality standards and budget objectives.
• Assess engineering requirements across programmes to confirm feasibility and alignment with objectives.
• Support projects through all stages from concept through to handover, managing interfaces and priorities.
• Collaborate with programme teams to ensure contractor compliance with designs and requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering personnel across delivery programmes.
