Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a qualified accountant to join its Aviation Advisory team in Dublin. The role requires accounting/audit experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to deliver best-in-class advisory services to aircraft leasing clients.

You will work with a team of professionals based in Dublin, with flexibility to visit client offices and contribute to ongoing growth of the business unit.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified.
• 4-5 years experience in accounting/audit.
• Audit experience from a top-ten firm would be advantageous.
• Experience with IFRS and Irish GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on financial report outputs (financial models, financial statements, analysis).
• Supervise and train junior team members to uphold firm standards.
• Analyse and establish the root cause of data issues.
• Foster strong client relationships through regular communication and understanding client challenges.
• Develop knowledge of core processes within aircraft leasing (maintenance reserves and lease management).
• Oversee the work of trainees and seniors on client engagements.
• Support and manage projects and initiatives.
