Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a candidate to join the Deal Advisory team in Cork. You will work on financial due diligence for acquisitions or divestitures, support lead advisory M&A projects, and assist with valuation engagements and financial modeling.

The role requires 3-4 years of relevant experience, ACA/CFA or equivalent, and strong GAAP knowledge, with advanced MS Office and BI tools capacity. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory.
• Qualified with ACA, CFA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles (IFRS and Irish GAAP).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on financial due diligence engagements related to acquisitions or divestitures.
• Support on lead advisory M&A projects and debt advisory engagements.
• Assist valuations including DCF and comparable company analyses.
• Develop robust financial models and business plans with client input.
