Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring an AV Manager in Ireland to oversee daily AV operations, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement. The role ensures reliable meeting room experiences, events, and executive communications, in a hybrid Dublin-based setup.

Responsibilities include leading AV projects, maintaining systems, and supporting budgeting and lifecycle planning, with a focus on continuous service improvement and user experience.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions with Poly and Logitech audio-video conferencing systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, conferencing tech, digital signage, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting executive meetings and events.
• Ability to prioritize workload across multiple activities in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate AV equipment and systems across Ireland sites to ensure high reliability.
• Maintain meeting rooms, event spaces, and collaboration tech in good working order.
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and hardware refresh programs.
• Build relationships with site leaders and end users; gather requirements and propose AV solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLAs and contractual obligations are met.
• Provide escalation support and create user guides and procedures.
• Lead AV projects, budgeting, and lifecycle planning.
