Job summary

Orange Recruitment is partnering with a well-established dealership group in Ireland to recruit an experienced Automotive Technician. You will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain vehicles using the latest tools and manufacturer training.

You will join a supportive workshop team and contribute to a first-class customer experience with a focus on quality workmanship, safety, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Motor Technician with recognised automotive certification.
• Previous workshop experience carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Strong fault-finding abilities and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Confidence using modern diagnostic tools and workshop management systems.
• HV certification or EV experience would be an advantage.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently and accurately.
• Complete repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
• Carry out vehicle assessments and identify additional maintenance requirements.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to troubleshoot complex faults.
• Accurately record work completed and maintain workshop documentation.
