Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Automation Support Engineer to join the Managed Service Project team on a client site in Dublin. You will work as part of the Cognizant team delivering automation project support, including coding, design, commissioning and testing, in a GMP environment.

You will support on-site control systems (DeltaV S88 batch), drive proactive site changes, join the daily support rota and provide training for new hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of automation experience in a GMP environment.
• DeltaV DCS/S88 batch experience required.

Responsibilities

• Automation project support including coding, design, commissioning and testing.
• Support on-site control systems including DeltaV S88 batch.
• Initiate, implement and qualify proactive site changes and small projects.
• Join the daily support rota for the department.
• Provide control system training for new hires.
• Out-of-hours on-call automation support.
• Coordinate tasks to ensure timely delivery.
• Monthly reporting of tasks completed and support provided.

• Automation Project Support including, Coding, Design, Commissioning and Testing.
• Support of on-site control systems including Delta v Batch S88
• Initiating, Implementing and Qualifying Proactive sites changes and small projects for site.
• Join the daily support Rota for the department.
• Give Control System Training for new hires.
• Out of hours On-call Automation Support
• Co-ordination of tasks to ensure timely delivery.
• Monthly reporting of tasks complete and support provided.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
