You will be part of Sanofi Global Engineering's Manufacturing Systems & Automation department, embedded within project teams for the delivery of Major Investment projects within the EMEA region. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to influence the global manufacturing strategy through innovative solutions. You will be responsible for delivering Tier 1 & Tier 2 Automation projects, working with a dynamic team to advance manufacturing systems and automation, ensuring Sanofi remains industry-leading.

Main responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for manufacturing systems and automation, ensuring safety, quality, business, and user requirements are met.
  • Create detailed project plans with schedules, resources, milestones, and deliverables for automation and manufacturing systems.
  • Lead design and development of control systems, ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability compliance.
  • Integrate automation systems with digital applications for seamless connectivity across production, quality, and data management.
  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams to select vendors that meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain consistency in automation design and execution across all facilities with a uniform approach.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, ensuring GMP compliance and minimizing disruptions.
About you
  • Experience: Proven track record in managing complex manufacturing automation, robotics, and advanced technologies in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Process Control Systems, SCADA, PLCs, and automation technologies; capable of designing robust system architectures.
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
