Avery Dennison is seeking an Electrician / Automation Engineer for our Longford site in Ireland. This on-site role focuses on electrical support to production, equipment reliability, and automation project integration to optimise plant performance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex electrical equipment and ensure safe operation of distribution systems. A strong background in manufacturing and PLC exposure is required.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Electrician to FETAC Level 6.
• Strong competence in reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and manufacturer installation procedures.

Aufgaben

• Provide electrical and technical support to production processes to ensure continuous operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Assist in integrating equipment and automation projects to improve plant performance and process efficiency.
• Deliver technical expertise and support for all electrical maintenance aspects of general plant and facility systems.
• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment safely and effectively.
• Utilize wiring diagrams and manufacturer installation manuals/procedures to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
