Job summary

JLL in Dublin is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Pfizer account on-site. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, focusing on fire doors and fire stopping, and you will work with PLC-controlled systems.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, ability to work independently, and strong safety/compliance mindset. You will report to the Site Lead and ensure KPI targets, quality and timely work orders, with on-site spare parts management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years facility maintenance/engineering experience.
• Experience with roller shutter, Seuster & access controlled automated doors.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC controlled automated doors.
• Electrical background with mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance management tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform general preventive and corrective maintenance on IFM for Pfizer account.
• Install and maintain fire doors and/or fire stopping.
• Ensure work orders meet KPIs and quality standards.
• Maintain on-site spare parts levels.
• Conduct site inspections per client expectations.
• Report issues to Site Lead with solutions.

Job Summary/Goals

• R esponsible for general preventative and corrective maintenance tasks relating to the JLL integrated facility management (IFM) on the Pfizer account.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general preventative and corrective maintenance tasks (predominantly on the Fire Doors & Fire stopping throughout the Campus)-
• Must have at least 3 years' experience in installing and maintaining Fire doors and/or Fire stopping.
• Flexibility is a key requirement for this role.
• Ensure work orders are completed in alignment with JLL KPI
• Ensure all works meet site KPI's and standards of quality set forth in the client contract.
• Ensure all works meet site safety requirements and SPA/RAMS are up to date for works
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of spare parts on site.
• Conduct site inspections per current JLL/client expectations.
• Ensures compliance with JLL and client best practice, policies and procedures including Quality and EHS compliance.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to the Site Lead with solutions and/or recommendations on maintenance issues.

• Meet and exceed Client relationship and expectation levels

• Complete all related work orders PMs and CMs for the site

Skills

Experience

• 2 plus years previous facility experience within the maintenance/engineering/utilities/facilities environment.
• Experience working on Roller shutter, Seuster & access controlled automated doors.
• Experience working with and troubleshooting PLC controlled automated doors and PLC control systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with some mechanical experience required including:
• The ability to clean, align, and calibrate radar motion sensors and infrared presence sensors
• Knowledge of how to set delay times, hold-open intervals, and motor torque based on the manufacturer's
• Servicing mechanical closers involves adjusting "sweep" and "latch" valves
• Troubleshooting binding or dragging requires the ability to use a level and adjust hinges, pivot points, and operator arms
• Knowledge and experience of use of maintenance management tools and techniques.
• PLC-controlled door systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on automation and control systems
• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of automated doors
• Programming/troubleshooting of PLC-based door controls
• Compliance, safety, and regulated-environment experience (relevant to Pfizer Grange Castle if required)
• Relevant certifications, electrical/mechanical qualifications, and industry experience
