Job summary

The Rehab Group is seeking an Autism Outreach Support Worker for a fixed-term contract (6 months) at 6 hours per week in Raheen, Limerick. You will provide supports to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them achieve person-centred goals within an autism support framework.

Applicants should hold a degree-level qualification in Education, Social Care or Psychology or have relevant experience, with at least 2 years working with ASD and experience in stakeholder relationships within

Qualifications

• Hold a third level qualification to at least degree standard in Education/Social Care/Psychology or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years' experience working with people with ASD.
• Experience maintaining relationships with stakeholders in service provision.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client group referred to the service, plan time and work allocation, record keeping and meetings.
• Develop working relationships, foster trust and encourage participation of clients.
• Assess current skill levels, explore person centred goals and identify support requirements.
• Support clients to engage with communities and connect with support networks for future needs.
