Job summary

Gheel Autism Services CLG is hiring a Social Care Worker/Autism Practitioner for our Fairview service in North Dublin. This role focuses on supporting autistic individuals through life planning, promoting independence, and delivering person-centered care within a residential setting.

A driving licence, CORU familiarity, and Garda Vetting are required or desirable. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to enable meaningful community participation, leverage HIQA guidelines, and provide

Qualifications

Minimum Level 7 Qualification in a related discipline OR CORU Registration.
A full, clean manual driving licence.
A thorough understanding of HIQA regulations and standards.
Full Garda Vetting (required prior to commencing employment).

Responsibilities

Support people in finding meaning and value in their lives while promoting their health and wellbeing.
Promote independence in individuals with support needs and facilitate inclusive daily activities.
Engage in case management and provide input for person-centred plans.
Document care activities with clear, accurate report writing.
Comply with HIQA guidelines and standards in all service delivery.
