Job summary

Medtronic Ireland in Galway is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Planner to help connect end-user signals to manufacturing and optimise global product flow. The role combines analytics, forecasting, network design and cross-functional collaboration to drive KPI performance and cost-to-serve improvements.

You'll work in a hybrid setup with on-site expectations guided by leadership, and contribute to long-term supply chain strategies, new programs, and cross‑functional initiatives across the value

Qualifications

  • Level 8 Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of job area with breadth and depth, typically from education and experience.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.

Responsibilities

  • Analyses, develops, and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
  • Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.
  • Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data, and coordinates cross‑functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

Associate Supply Chain Planners are directly involved in connecting end user customer signals to manufacturing sites, optimising product flow across the global supply chain and delivering on core KPI’s to support business objectives. Key Skills & Experience

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a Level 8 Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Masters/MBA preferred.
  • Medical Device/Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent statistical and mathematics skills.
  • APICs CPIM/CSCP.
  • Software skills including MS Office (Access & Excel focus).
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI & Blue Yonder.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Experience implementing/utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma techniques a plus.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution planning, logistics, warehousing, or transportation.

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Ireland: 41,920.00 EUR - 62,880.00 EUR | The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job‑related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and qualifications, in accordance with our compensation framework.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
