Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing Ireland is seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Biopharmaceutical Team in Dungarvan. The role focuses on quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with predefined quality and safety standards.

You will perform routine and non-routine analyses, compile test records, participate in continuous improvement, and adhere to GMP guidelines, with training and cover duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of GMP experience.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• HPLC experience and exposure to biologics testing.
• Good understanding of GMP.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.
• Perform routine and non-routine analyses with accuracy.
• Complete test records on time with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and document activities.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare reports.
• Provide training to colleagues as competency proves.
• Cover for colleagues; participate in weekend rota and on-call.
• Ensure customer requirements are met.
