Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Dublin is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to drive the mechanical design on major projects within a leading M&E design consultancy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartership.
• Proven experience leading mechanical design on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and delivery of major projects, ensuring high technical standards and successful project outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, coordinating mechanical services and mentoring engineers.

Associate Mechanical Engineer

Dublin

Associate Mechanical Engineer required to join one of Ireland's leading M&E Design Consultancies, with offices in Ireland and the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take on a senior technical and leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and delivery of major projects, ensuring high technical standards and successful project outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, coordinating mechanical services and mentoring engineers.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, supporting project meetings, technical discussions and delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years' professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally within a building services consultancy.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartership.
• Proven experience leading mechanical design on major projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and technical deliverables.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers.
• Strong knowledge of BIM, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Previous experience at Senior, Lead, Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer
