Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Associate Manager for Fixed Income Operations in Letterkenny, Co Donegal. The role requires experience in finance, portfolio administration, and supervisory skills. Responsibilities include overseeing reconciliations and improving processes. Ideal candidates have a degree in relevant fields and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing reconciliations between our internal record keeping system and the custodian for each fund.
  • Reviewing Statement of Investments reconciliations monthly.
  • Assisting with research and resolving reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Proactively communicating issues to relevant business partners.
  • Taking ownership for operational issues raised and providing resolutions.
  • Anticipating issues that may affect support of funds.
  • Proactively seeking process improvements.
  • Coaching and developing a team focusing on controls and improvements.

Job description

Associate Manager, Fixed Income Operations required with previous experience in finance / portfolio administration / custody operations / professional services. Supervisory or managerial experience essential. Letterkenny Co Donegal.

Hybrid - Onsite 2/3 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing reconciliations between our internal record keeping system and the custodian for each fund.
  • Reviewing Statement of Investments reconciliations monthly.
  • Assisting with research and resolving reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Proactively communicating issues to relevant business partners.
  • Assuming ownership for operational issues that are raised and providing resolution in a manner that considers the impact to other operational areas.
  • Anticipating issues that may adversely affect the operational support of the funds and taking action to reduce the risk of occurrences.
  • Proactively seeking ways to improve current processes by leveraging the tools available to identify inefficiencies.
  • Coach, develop, and manage a team of direct reports, focusing on key controls and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience in finance/portfolio administration/custody operations/professional services.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
