Job summary

PGIM Ireland is recruiting an Investment Operations Associate to join the Global Portfolio Administration Team in Letterkenny. You will work with teams across the UK, US, and Japan to support fixed income investment teams with daily information and reconciliations.

Candidates should have a degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or relevant experience, strong Excel and SQL skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience in accounting or custody operations preferred.
  • Inquisitive nature and a desire to deliver quality work.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the team to produce daily and monthly NAV and position reconciliations.
  • Review reconciliations to custodian banks and accounting agents to prevent and resolve NAV discrepancies before closing and publishing accounting records.
  • Independently researching and resolving position related discrepancies.
  • This is a role with a busy work day working in a time sensitive environment with accuracy and attention to detail being key to success.
  • Proactively communicating issues to relevant business partners.
  • Anticipating issues that may adversely affect the operational support of the funds and taking action to reduce the risk of occurrences.
  • Proactively seeking ways to improve current processes by leveraging the tools available to identify inefficiencies.
  • Cultivating both internal and external relationships across different countries to ensure proper service levels are achieved for each fund supported.
  • Developing an understanding of the fixed income trading business.

Based in Letterkenny you will work with colleagues across the globe in the UK, United States and Japan to support our Fixed income investment teams with key information on a daily basis. The Global Portfolio Administration Accounting team is responsible for the daily and monthly position and NAV reconciliations across PGIM Fixed Income funds ensuring the accuracy and integrity of portfolio accounting data between internal systems, custodians and fund administrators.
