Job summary

Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. This role directs responsible business outcomes and drives climate action across infrastructure projects.

You will compile Scope 1–3 emissions, embed carbon metrics in procurement, and lead decarbonisation initiatives while fostering client relationships and market growth.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience compiling and interpreting Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions under the GHG Protocol.
  • Chartered or professionally accredited.
  • Experience embedding carbon metrics in procurement.
  • Knowledge of EPDs and infrastructure materials.
  • Proficient in whole-life carbon and LCA tools.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and technical communication.
  • Supports decarbonisation, innovation and capability development.

You’ll Need To Have
  • 8+ years’ experience of compiling and interpreting Scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 emissions under GHG Protocol as they relate to infrastructure projects, including construction activities, materials, energy use, supply chains and where 3rd parties been engaged.
  • Chartered or professionally accredited.
  • Experience embedding carbon metrics in procurement.
  • Knowledge of EPDs and infrastructure materials.
  • Proficient in whole-life carbon and LCA tools.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and technical communication.
  • Supports decarbonisation, innovation and capability development.
