Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Risk Management (QRM) within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) desired.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP regulations and guidelines.
  • Proven experience in process optimization, integration, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the safety, quality, and continuity of operations.
  • Demonstrates innovation, flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to meet objectives in a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities :

  • Champion process development, deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and improvement of QRM procedures and BCP procedures.
  • Work with Quality Systems and Compliance partners to integrate risk-based approaches into the enterprise-wide Quality Management System.
  • Provide guidance and support in implementing risk management strategies and business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate risks.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management.
  • Ensure alignment and compliance with QRM and BCP processes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive process monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of risk profiles and dashboards.
  • Monitor and evaluate QRM and BCP initiatives, and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on activities and performance metrics.
  • Engage with broader Quality Management Systems and external benchmarking initiatives.
  • Support regulatory inspections, audits, and the QRM Community of Practices.
  • Serve as liaison during crisis management situations.
  • Support test exercises and process improvements for BCP and crisis management.
  • Define processes for managing major disruptions and improve BCP responses.
  • Ensure compliance and effective execution of BCP processes.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and training for teams involved in QRM and BCP.
  • Support IT systems for QRM processes and data analytics.
  • Assist with enterprise risk management reporting.
  • This role requires up to 15% travel.
