Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Associate Director of Occupational Health at the Kinsale site to lead the Occupational Health service, ensuring clinical governance, workforce capability and regulatory compliance. The role combines leadership with hands-on clinical activity where required, supporting site operations and business continuity.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Nursing (e.g. PGDip or MSc).
• Minimum of 10 years’ post-registration clinical experience including substantive Occupational Health practice.
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience leading an Occupational Health department.
• Demonstrated line management experience and capability development.
• Experience owning core Occupational Health programmes within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the Occupational Health service and set clear direction for delivery.
• Be accountable for day-to-day service delivery, staff management and clinical governance.
• Lead and manage the Occupational Health team including workload planning and performance management.
• Maintain a visible presence across the site and ensure services meet local needs.
• Lead clinical governance and drive continuous improvement across the service.
• Oversee outsourced Occupational Health services and ensure quality and compliance.
