Job summary

Valeo is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to lead the wellbeing and health surveillance initiatives at the site. You will perform medical assessments, support absenteeism management, and drive ergonomic and safety programs in collaboration with HR and line managers.

The role requires registration as a General Nurse and a higher diploma/degree in occupational health or safety, with strong computer literacy. A commitment to proactive wellness and workplace safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with An Bord Altranais registration.
• Higher Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety discipline.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with health information systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Site initiatives to prevent accidents and ill health at work.
• Develop and implement Site Wellbeing strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain health at work through pre-employment medical health assessments, health surveillance, and health promotion programmes.
• Manage absenteeism-related health elements and supporting case management.
• Lead the Site Ergonomics Program and complete workstation and DSE assessments.
• Assist in risk assessments, audits, and management of first aid resources on site.
