Job summary

Clyde & Co in Dublin is seeking an ambitious lawyer to join the Corporate & Regulatory Insurance team. You will advise insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries and other financial services clients on regulatory, advisory and transactional matters with international elements.

You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers, gaining client exposure and opportunities for professional development in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Hybrid working may be available.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in Ireland with 1–5 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Experience advising regulated entities in insurance/financial services is preferred.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and legal research skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries and other financial services clients on corporate and regulatory matters.
• Support partners and senior lawyers on complex projects, transactions and mandates.
• Draft and review transactional, regulatory and corporate documentation.
• Conduct legal/regulatory research and provide practical advice.
• Assist with regulatory applications, authorisations and ongoing compliance.
• Support governance, risk management and operational framework matters.
• Contribute to M&A, portfolio transfers and corporate reorganisations.
• Develop expertise on ESG and sustainability topics.
