Quest Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Client Oversight Operations and Transformation in Dublin. This role leads service delivery across hedge fund clients, overseeing local and offshore teams, while acting as a senior client contact.

Qualifications

• Three to four years Hedge Fund Accounting experience.
• Two years supervisory or people-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of complex hedge fund structures and OTC derivatives.
• Experience overseeing offshore teams or outsourced service delivery is a plus.
• Track record of managing performance, deadlines, KPIs or SLAs.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Interest in process improvement, automation and operational projects.

Client Oversight Operations and Transformation

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hedge Fund Accounting professional who wants to move beyond the day-to-day NAV production cycle and take on a broader operational leadership role.

Working within an established offshore operating model, all core fund accounting production is completed by teams in India and Manila. Your focus will be on leading people, managing performance, strengthening client relationships and ensuring the overall service operates effectively.

You will have the opportunity to influence how services are delivered, lead process improvements and contribute to projects that make the operating model more controlled, efficient and scalable.

The Role

As Assistant Vice President, you will take ownership of service delivery across a portfolio of hedge fund clients. You will act as a senior point of contact for clients while overseeing the performance of local and offshore teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing team members, with a strong focus on performance, engagement and career development
• Overseeing fund accounting services delivered by offshore Centres of Excellence
• Ensuring client KPIs, SLAs and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved
• Building strong relationships with clients and managing service issues, development requests and operational priorities
• Reviewing performance data, control statistics and service metrics to identify risks or areas for improvement
• Leading process optimisation, automation and efficiency initiatives
• Supporting operational projects, system enhancements and changes to the service-delivery model
• Ensuring new clients, products and internal initiatives are implemented in a controlled and scalable manner
• Working closely with Investor Services, Custody, Depositary, Product, Technology and other operational teams
• Supporting succession planning, training and performance reviews across the team

• Experience overseeing offshore teams or outsourced service delivery, although this is not essential
• A track record of managing performance, deadlines, KPIs or SLAs
• Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills
• An interest in process improvement, automation and operational projects
• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline would be advantageous
