We are currently seeking Assistant Support Workers and Social Care Workers to join our team in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan.

Qualifications

• Assistant Support Worker role requires no formal qualification; full training provided.
• Social Care Worker roles require a Level 7/8 degree and CORU registration.
• Experience in care is desirable but not essential.
• A full driving licence is preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Support people with their daily plan.
• Support people in the community.
• Support people with education, skills development and personal outcomes.
• Help with living skills: cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments, family visits.
• Familiar with and follow company policies, procedures, standards and codes of practice.
• Operate on a 24/7 shift pattern.

The Role of The Assistant Support Worker and Social Care Worker is to provide care to people who avail of our service. We will support you in developing and upskilling you in providing high quality care, maintaining professional working relationships with our team members and people who avail of our service.

We support people in reaching their full potential, to have a meaningful life through the supports of the services we provide to them.

This Will Include The Following On a Day-to-day Basis

• Supporting people with their daily plan
• Supporting people whilst in the community
• Supporting people with their education, skills development and achieving personal outcomes
• Supporting people with their living skills such as – Cooking, Cleaning, Laundry, attending appointments, family visits etc.
• Being familiar with and adhering to all Company policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice in so far as is reasonable and practicable.
• Shift work over 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Skills Requirement

• Assistant Support Worker - No qualification required (All necessary training provided)
• Social Care Workers - Level 7/ 8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline (Must be registered with CORU)
• Relevant life experience would be desirable but not essential.
• Good attitude to work and passionate about supporting people.
• "Full Driver's Licence required or in the process of achieving a Full Driver's Licence."
