Job summary

Skechers Ireland is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Dundrum store to support the Store Manager with daily operations and staff leadership. You will mentor the team, oversee merchandising, customer service, HR tasks, and help drive recruitment and sales strategies.

In this role you will manage store inventory, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain an inviting, high-performing shop floor while addressing customer needs and achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

• Must have prior Supervisor/Assistant Manager level experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
• Flexible to work a dynamic schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform floor duties (reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, carrying goods).

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager with daily activities and operations.
• Mentor and oversee store staff as directed by the Store Manager.
• Cover store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Collaborate on merchandising, customer service and HR tasks.
• Assist in daily reporting, recruitment and sales strategies.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Keep the store clean, inviting and address customer issues promptly.
• Support customers and troubleshoot as needed.
• Contribute to store sales targets and initiatives.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by upper management.
