Job summary

MSL Engineering Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to support the processing of financial information and reporting. Based in Ringaskiddy, the role starts onsite with a possibility of hybrid work after settling in.

You will assist with accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, budgeting, audits and ad-hoc projects, contributing to accurate financial reporting across Ireland and Europe. The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree and 1–2 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Finance or Accounting degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 years experience in financial accounting.
• Pursuing or intending to pursue a Professional Accounting Qualification.
• Strong MS Excel and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing
• Support Business Job cards process
• Support Month-end financial processing and reporting/reconciliations (Ireland and Europe)
• Assist in the Annual Budget process and Quarterly reforecast
• Assist in the Annual Statutory Audit processes
• Identify and implement process efficiencies
• Assist with other Ad-Hoc Projects as required

The Assistant Financial Accountant will have responsibility for supporting the processing of financial information and assisting in financial information reporting and analysis. Reports to Financial Accountant.

Location: Initially it is an onsite role in Ringaskiddy, but there will be a possibility of a hybrid model after a settling in period
