Job Title: Assistant Director of Services - Will be considered for future roles within the Talbot Group

Location: Cork

Disability Service: Disability Residential Service for Adults and Children

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Job Objectives:
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA Regulations/Standards and implement actions from inspections.
  • Promote quality through audits and Quality Improvement Plans.
  • Support referrals, admissions, and transition processes.

Ensure services are delivered respectfully, promoting residents' independence while maintaining privacy, dignity, and respect.

Under the Director of Services, the post holder will oversee:

  • Governance

  • Risk Management/Health and Safety
  • Training and Development
Professional Knowledge & Experience:
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Health Act 2007 and associated regulations.
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies, quality assurance, and social service delivery models.
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in disability services or related human services, at PIC level or above.
  • BA Level 7 Degree in Social Care, Nursing, or Social Care Management, with relevant health or social care qualifications.
  • Experience managing multiple designated centers.
  • Full driving license and own transport.
