Rí-Rá Brewing Company is seeking an Assistant Brand Manager to help grow Rí-Rá and Larkins across Ireland and GB. The role focuses on social media, content creation and bringing brand personality to life through campaigns, events and partnerships.
You will work closely with leadership, sales and creative partners to translate ideas into real-world activations and drive brand awareness and trial in pubs, bars, off‑licences and retail.
Rí-Rá Brewing Company is an ambitious independent Irish brewery based in Co. Wicklow, creating brands with personality, provenance and a distinctly modern take on Irishness.
At the heart of our portfolio is Rí-Rá Irish Lager, a premium Irish lager built around bringing people le chéile (together) and celebrating the energy, humour and social side of modern Ireland.
Alongside Rí-Rá is Larkins, our craft beer range. Larkins gives us the freedom to be more adventurous with beer styles, flavours, innovation, collaborations and creative ideas.
We are growing both brands across Ireland and Great Britain and are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager who wants to play a hands on role in that journey.
Working closely with the senior team and our creative and commercial partners, you will help manage and activate Rí-Rá and Larkins across a wide range of consumer touchpoints.
A major part of the role will be social media and content creation. You will manage the brands' social channels, develop the content calendar and create engaging content that builds our communities and brings the personality of each brand to life.
You will also have the opportunity to take ideas beyond social media and bring them to life in the real world.
You will help develop BTL campaigns and sales drivers, creating promotions, POS, sampling ideas and in outlet visibility that make our brands stand out in pubs, bars, off licences and retail stores.
Events and sponsorship activation will be another important part of the role. Rí-Rá is a social brand by nature and we want to build our presence where people come together. You will help plan and activate partnerships and events across sport, music, food and culture, working with venues, event organisers, customers, creators and partners to turn sponsorships into memorable brand experiences.
The role will also give you exposure to the commercial side of brand building. You will work closely with our sales team and customers, understanding what makes brands succeed at the point of purchase and translating great brand ideas into activity that drives trial, rate of sale and repeat purchase.
In a larger company, an Assistant Brand Manager can be one small part of a very large marketing team. At Rí-Rá, you will be much closer to the action.
You will work with the people brewing the beer, designing the brands, selling them to customers and activating them with consumers. You will see the results of your ideas quickly and have genuine scope to influence what we do next.
We are a growing independent business, so we value people who bring ideas rather than simply wait for a brief. If you've seen a brilliant activation, spotted a social trend, discovered an emerging creator or thought of something we should be doing differently, we want to hear about it.
For someone early in their marketing career, this is an opportunity to build broad experience across brand management, social media, content creation, experiential marketing, sponsorship, trade marketing, innovation and commercial activation.
We're looking for someone at the early stages of their marketing career who is ambitious, creative, commercially curious and genuinely interested in brands and culture.
You’ll probably be someone who naturally notices great content, interesting brands, brilliant events and clever marketing ideas. You understand social media because you actually use it, but you’re equally comfortable getting out from behind a laptop and helping bring an event or activation to life.
You’ll need strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and the confidence to work with lots of different people. Most importantly, you’ll need energy, initiative and a willingness to get involved.
Experience in FMCG, drinks, hospitality, events, social media or brand marketing would be useful, but we’re equally interested in potential, attitude and creativity related field is preferred.
